I am officially done my undergraduate degree (provided I passed my finals…fingers crossed!!)…I still can’t believe it. With summer approaching and no concrete plans, I’m left with a blank slate. It’s a scary (yet oddly blissful) feeling to have. I’m so excited to do whatever I want…find a job, move into my apartment, and do things that I love: spend time with the people I adore, read more, learn to cook, watch too much Netflix, and with the recent induction of CarlyClydesdale.com- focus on my blog! I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings and where I’m headed. This week… View Post

Earlier this month, I found a website that gave instructions for DIY lace doily bowls. I have never been an outstandingly crafty person, however once in a while a craft catches my eye that I can’t refuse! This project is super easy…the hardest part was finding the lace doilies! Heads up: Michael’s doesn’t have any, and neither does Fabricland. Riley and I ended up finding some doilies at Value Village, and we decided they would have to do! Ours didn’t work out nearly as well as the ones pictured on the original blog, but I think that they’ll still… View Post

Happy Easter! Spring has finally sprung! Although I’m bummed to be away from my family and my boyfriend for Easter weekend, it has been a perfect time to enjoy the company of friends, along with some solitude. Lately I welcome a little alone-time with open arms! The sun is out, the parka is in storage (where it belongs!) and my mood is improving every day.  As I’m nearing the end of my four years at university, I have decided it’s finally time for me to take advantage of what Kingston has to offer. A beautiful, sunny Sunday meant delicious brunch and a trip to the market… View Post

It’s been a long week of pretending to study for exams and packing my life up at school…it’s given me the opportunity to have some fun times with friends and pick up some new weekly favourites! I decided to play around with the layout of Week in Review…let me know what you think. ♡ Song This week was full of procrastination and writing essays at the last minute…this playlist was my saving grace! I loved every song, and it seriously helped me relax while shoving politics into my brain.     Three Hours of Studying Food Drinks count as food, right?… View Post

Who doesn’t love a good cat eye? Ever since I became obsessed with The Hills– specifically, Lauren Conrad- I have been trying to master the perfect winged liner. It’s been a long journey, but I think I’m starting to get there, and it’s becoming one of my go-to looks! Personally, I don’t think that there is a “right” way to do winged liner…everyone’s eyes are shaped differently, and everyone has their own technique. As you can see in the photo on the left, I have a small birth mark right where you would wing out your liner; this has led me to come up… View Post

Well, my blog has been live for a week now…it has been so fun crafting this website and planning what I want my content to be. I can’t wait to continue sharing my life and ideas with you! Here are my weekly favourites in the first edition of “Week in Review”…Happy Friday, have an amazing weekend! ♡ Song I started watching Nashville earlier this month, and I have a newfound respect for country music. This song is one of my favourites…it’s super sultry and I can’t get it out of my head.     Food Cookies made by my housemate Riley and… View Post
