Do you ever buy a product, obsess over it, and then forget about it when something newer and younger (what?) comes along? I do this ALL the time, mostly due to my love of beauty products and the magnetic effect of shiny new toys. I try to not be gross and throw out old products, but once in a while I come across an old gem that I re-fall in love with. This lipstick is TOTALLY that kind of product.
I bought this Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in the shade 101 about a year ago (ew, I know) and was obsessed with it. I wore it every day, but with the acquisition of new lip shades, it slowly faded into the background. I fished it out of a purse this past weekend, and HOLY COW why did I stop using it? This lipstick is the perfect matte pink colour for my lips. It’s kind of like a my-lips-but-better shade, and stays super matte all day. You know when lipsticks start to wear off and stay put around the edges but disappear in the middle, giving you a disgusting lip-liner effect? Yeah, this isn’t one of those lipsticks. It fades evenly, and even better, slowly. I needed to share the wealth with you ladies, because I remember I influenced my friend Shayla to buy this lil guy when I bought it, and she too became obsessed. I will convert you allllll into believers in this magical lipstick.
Now, I’m off to buy a new tube, because I am probably spreading germs all up over my face right now. Sorry not sorry?
