Five Faves: Fall Nail Polish

Nail polish truly is an addiction. I’ve been adding these magical little bottles to my collection since high school (and stealing from my mom), and today I have amassed quite the smorgasbord of every shade of nail polish.

Note to self: clean out nail polish case.

As much fun as I have with neons and bright colours in the summertime, I love that autumn brings dark, vampy shades with it. My favourite fall polishes have similar tones to them, but that is what makes them PERFECT for fall. They are all relatively dark and sleek, yet they all have something about them that makes them unique. While Essie and OPI may be sort of expensive, I think that it can really be worth it to splurge on pricier polish. The colour payoff is usually worth it, especially with these darker shades!

Stylenomics is a gorgeous near-black, but when it catches the light, it is a totally unexpected bluey green shade. In these pictures, you can kind of catch a glimpse of this polish’s true colours (I see your truuuuue colours……anybody? nobody.)

Autumn Berry is one of my favourite nail polishes, and it’s from the drugstore! It has gold undertones, and while the gold looks pretty prominent in the bottle, it really just adds unreal dimension.

Merino Cool is another favourite; it’s a different, purpley spin on a classic grey nail polish and it’s the perfect fall neutral.

Lincoln Park After Dark is a cult favourite, and I can see why. It is an incredibly dark shade that screams autumn!

Angora Cardi has surprised me; it’s more cool-toned than you’d think! This pink shade is a great transition into fall while still keeping a fun pop of colour.
