Secret Santa Gifts – Under $25

‘Tis the season for holiday parties, aka my FAVOURITE type of party. I love getting dressed up, having festive food/drinks, and spending time with loved ones in the presence of a Christmas tree. With holiday parties comes what can be both an exciting and daunting activity; Secret Santa. One of my favourite holiday traditions is playing that game where everyone brings a gift and while choosing gifts at random, you can steal from your friends and family; it takes strategy and alliances, and usually ends in betrayal. Who doesn’t love some good old fashioned family feuding at Christmas, am I right?

I used to dread Secret Santas, because honestly WHO can find a present for under $5? While the people who set an obscenely low gift limit are cruel, I find that nowadays most will be kind enough to set a reasonable budget. Here is my gift guide for Secret Santa gifts for under $25…I tried to keep them relatively gender neutral, but let’s get real, all of the men in my life would actually 100% appreciate a David’s Tea mug and steeper.

1. Print & Frame, Chapter’s – $15-20
A gorgeous print in a sleek frame for under $25 is an amazing gift; based on whether you are gifting for a girl or guy, Chapter’s has a variety of prints to suit all types of people. There are sassy quotes, beautiful typography, and adorable pictures available, and any of them would make an awesome gift.

2. Mug & Steeper, David’s Tea – $19.50
David’s Tea mugs are awesome; they’re the perfect size, and come with a steeper for loose leaf tea. I like this one because it’s festive, but it’s not so Christmassy that you’ll get weird looks for using it all year round! Here’s a hint- if you order online, they usually throw in a few tea samples…perfect to hide in the mug for an added surprise!

3. Shot Spinner, Amazon – $8.50
My dad actually got me one of these for Christmas a few years ago, and it is one of my favourite party games. If you’re confident that the crowd you’re gifting to would appreciate this type of gift, this could make a hilarious (and cheap!) Secret Santa present.

4. Cards Against Humanity – $25
Similar to the shot spinner, if you know the crowd you’re with is laid back, Cards Against Humanity is the ultimate game. It’s an awesome bonding activity, and your group can put it to good use once it’s been opened…even more fun if you integrate the shot spinner into the fun!

5. Wire Head Scratcher, Amazon – $8
This gift is the best bang for your buck, and is a proven success. I gave this gift as a Secret Santa gift a few years ago, and it was a hit! Super cheap and gender neutral, this is equal parts funny and useful gift. PS- these head scratchers feel AMAZING, and I highly recommend them…
