Stefan and I had an awesome housewarming party this weekend…it was so nice to have most of our best friends in one room! So much love, so much cheese ball (I’m truly obsessed with this recipe…maybe I’ll do a blog post).
A friend of mine brought his friend, who happens to be a mutual friend (confused yet?). I met Dee on Instagram a few years ago and we’ve been internet pals ever since. We see each other once in a blue moon, and it was so nice for her to pop up at my apartment. The extra perk of having beauty blogger friends? They bring the best gifts! Dee handed me a bag of goodies and my little beauty loving heart exploded with joy.
I’ve had a chance to dig through what she gave me, and I’ve emerged with my new favourite hair product.
Moroccan Oil Dry Texture Spray is a fine-haired girl’s dream. My natural hair doesn’t want to hold curl, volume, or any shape other than a bizarre combo of waves and frizzy curls. This spray acts as half-hairspray, half-texturizer. It gives your hair a gritty, beachy feel without being weighed down or greasy. I curled my hair for work yesterday, and despite the heat, the style stayed intact and voluminous pretty much all day. I can see this stuff being SUPER helpful when styling braids & updos…so much texture to work with!
The spray also makes your hair smell amazing, just like the classic Moroccan Oil does. Bonus points!
